Wayne F. Kaczmarski, age 78 of Star Prairie, formerly of Clear Lake, WI, died on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Westfield’s Hospital in New Richmond, WI.
Wayne Francis Kaczmarski was born on July 20, 1936 in Emerald, WI, the son of Stanley & Katherine (Kolashinski) Kaczmarski. He grew up in the Clear Lake area, was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Catholic Church there and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1954. Wayne joined the US Army in 1955 and served in Germany until he was honorably discharged in 1957. He was married to Marlys Orf on May 23, 1964 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clear Lake and together they raised three sons, Mark, John, & Brian. During this time, Wayne lived in Shoreview, MN and worked as a realtor operating his own real estate company. He moved his family back to the Clear Lake area in 1979 where he continued to operate Wayne Company Real Estate. In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting & fishing, raising Arabian horses and was also a huge Green Bay Packer fan. He was a member of the VFW, the Lions Club and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Clear Lake.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley & Katherine; and brother, Michael
