Wayne R. Jacques

Wayne R. Jacques,  age 84 of Clear Lake, WI,  died at his home early Sunday, June 21, 2015, after a bout with Liver Cancer.

Wayne Robert Jacques was born on May 22, 1931 in Exeland, WI the son of Maxie & Bertha (Hoffmann) Jacques.   He  grew up in Exeland, was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and attended Windfall Lake School.    On August 19, 1950 Wayne joined the US Navy and served honorably for 4 years during the Korean War.   He was married to Sadie Haas on December 1, 1956 at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Brackett, WI.    They made their home in Milwaukee, WI where Wayne worked for Allis Chalmers as a machinist and together they raised five sons, Thomas, David, Russell, Alan, & Steven.   In 1964, Wayne moved his family to New Richmond, WI and a couple years later purchased their hobby farm in Clear Lake.   During this time, Wayne was employed in New Richmond as a machinist at   Doboy’s Packaging Division and retired in 1996.  In his spare time he enjoyed polka music and old time dancing, reading, gardening, cutting wood and raising steers.  Wayne was also an avid Packers and Brewers fan and enjoyed attending high school sporting events.  He was an active member of  St. John’s Catholic Church in Clear Lake for many years.

Wayne is preceded in death by his son, David Jacques; parents, Maxie & Bertha Jacques;  infant grand daughter;
brothers, Lester, Harold, Walter, & Maxie;   sisters, Helen, Ellen, Lucille, Mary, & Irma;

and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.

Interment  -  Clear Lake Cemetery,  Clear Lake, WI
