Wanda J. Hofer

Wanda J. Hofer,  age 60 of Clayton, WI formerly of Clear Lake, WI,  died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at her home in Clayton.

Wanda Jean Hofer was born on December 25, 1961, in Menomonie, WI the daughter of Douglas & Sharon (Pooler) Duval.  She grew up in Glenwood City, WI and later moved to Hudson, WI where she attended high school there.  Wanda went on to WITC and received her GED.  In 1980 she married Perry Klingman and together had two children, Krissy and Andrew.  They later divorced.  It was at this time that she began working at the Jennie O Turkey store in Barron, WI.   On May 30, 1990, Wanda was married to Fred Hofer and after some moving around the area,  they eventually settled down and made their home near Clear Lake, WI.  Together they raised two sons James & Justan.   In her spare time Wanda enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and fishing.  She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and cooking and baking especially for her family.  Wanda was also a member of the United Covenant Church in Clear Lake, WI

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Duval Danielson; husbands, Perry Klingman & Fred Hofer; & son, James Morden.
