Virgil B. Wilson

Virgil B. Wilson, age 64 of Clear Lake, WI, died peacefully on Sunday, December 29,  2013 at the Golden Age manor Nursing Home in Amery, WI after a courageous battle with cancer.

Virgil Bruce Wilson was born on December 15, 1949 in Amery, WI, the son of Gerald & Irene (Marquand) Wilson.  He was baptized in 1951 at Redeemer Lutheran in Amery and later confirmed at Deronda Lutheran Church.  During his childhood, Virgil moved with his family to Clear Lake, Eau Claire, and back to Amery, WI where he graduated from High School in 1968.    Virgil worked in and around the Clear Lake and Amery area before going to work at Anderson Windows in Bayport, MN.  He worked there for 33 years before he retired in 2004.  During this time he was married to Peggy O’Neill and they raised three sons, Jeremy, Jason, & Jesse.  They later divorced.  Virgil was married to Eva Mucciacciaro-Fox on August 27, 1988,  and together made their home in Clear Lake, WI.   In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, sitting by the campfire and spending time with his grandchildren, and especially four wheeling.   Virgil was also an active member at the First Lutheran Church in Clear Lake and enjoyed helping with various projects there.  He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.  

Virgil is proceeded in death by his parents, Gerald & Irene Wilson; his step-father, Hulbert Anderson; infant brother, Michael Wilson; nephew, Donald Wilson; & niece Amy Wilson.
