Thomas W. Brekke

Thomas W. Brekke, age 62 of Clayton, WI, , died early Monday, March 31, 2014 at his home after a long battle with cancer.

Thomas Walter Brekke  was born on January 2, 1952 in Amery, WI, the son of Donald & Joy “Jo” (Lewis) Brekke.  He grew up in Clayton, WI was baptized and confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church and graduated from Clayton High School in 1970.   Tom has lived in Clayton all of his life and over the years he has worked at Anderson Windows, the Clayton Feed Mill, the Brekke Service Station, Land O Lakes (AFP), and at the Amery Senior Center.  Tom and Jeannine Haffner were married on October 12, 1991.  In September 1992 they  welcomed their daughter Jennaye into the family; uniting the family as a whole with Tom's two daughters from a previous marriage, Lisa and Joy.   In his spare time, Tom enjoyed going to car shows, hanging out at Kuhn Auto, and spending time with his family and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Brekke; sister, Patty Brekke; grandparents, Walter & Clara Lewis and Alfred & Ida Brekke;  father in law, Del Haffner;  & brothers in law, Scott Haffner & Bob Mouchet

Memorial Service at 11 am on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Moe Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, WI

Interment at a later date in St. Charles Cemetery in Turtle Lake, WI

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 -8 pm at the Scheuermann Funeral Home in Clear Lake.
and one hour before the services on Friday.
