Theodore “Ted” Olson, Jr., age 92 of rural Clear Lake, WI passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Amery Memory Care in Amery, WI.
Theodore Henry Olson Jr., was born on September 29, 1933 at his family’s farm in Clear Lake Township, the son of Theodore, Sr. & Anna (Felland) Olson. He grew up in the Clear Lake area and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1952. Ted was married to Myrna Elmer on January 7, 1956 at Moe Lutheran Church. They made their home on the family farm and together raised 3 sons, Ronald, Rodney, & Jon. In addition to dairy farming, Ted also raised Angus beef, enjoyed landscaping and tended to his vegetable and flower gardens. He was especially proud of his annual crop of Lillies. Ted enjoyed woodworking and raising his collie dogs over the years. He was also longtime member of Moe Lutheran Church. Ted loved socializing with friends at the coffee shop and looked forward to his annual fishing trips to Canada. He had been a resident of Amery Memory Care for the past few years and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
