Susan K. Haley

Susan K. Haley,  age 73 of Clear Lake, WI,  died  on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Amery Hospital in Amery, WI after many years of health complications.

Susan Kay Haley was born on December 2, 1950 in Amery, WI,  the daughter of Lawrence “Squirrel” & Helen (Thompson)  Hansen.  She grew up in Clear Lake, WI, was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Catholic Church there and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1969.   After graduation she moved to Amery and in 1972 was married to Gary Haley. Together they raised two children, Patrick and Laurie and they later divorced.   Susan returned to Clear Lake to make her home and in addition to taking care of her family, she worked at various places over the years, including   Nova Tran, Fabri-Tech, Super Value, Dicks Fresh Market and GDSI.  In her spare time, Susan loved riding horses,  particularly her horse Ben.  She enjoyed gardening and canning especially the vegetables she grew.   She was an avid viewer of the Food Network and collector of cook books who loved baking and cooking.  Susan was also a member of Little Falls Lutheran Church in Amery and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Lawrence & Helen Hansen;  her brother, Michael Hansen  &  son in law, Joel Brunzlick

Memorial Service will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024  at 12 noon at  Little Falls Lutheran Church in rural Amery, WI

Visitation  -  on Saturday, April 6, 2024  from  10 AM to  12 noon at  Little Falls Lutheran Church.

Interment  -  Clear Lake Cemetery,  Clear Lake, WI
