Sharon K. Fouks

Sharon K.  Fouks, age 81 of Deer Park, WI, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Glen Haven Nursing Home in Glenwood City, WI.

Sharon Katheryn Fouks was born on December 8, 1932, on her family’s farm near Connorsville, WI,  the  daughter of Bert & Selma (Halvorson) Stoner.  She attended country school and graduated from Glenwood City High School in 1950.  Sharon was united in marriage to Herbert H. Fouks on June 21, 1950 at the Methodist Church in Connersville.  Together they raised four children; Sally, Trudie, Kiym and Derrick and operated a dairy farm in rural Deer Park for many years.  After Herb retired in 1990, they moved to and made their home in Amery, WI.  She was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Deer Park for many years.  In her spare time, Sharon enjoyed cleaning house, doing crafts, flowers, and garage sales.  She especially loved  spending time with her family and friends.  

Preceded in death by her husband, Herb;  her parents, Bert & Selma Stoner;
brother, Jerry Stoner; sister, Avis Swenby;  infant son; and infant granddaughter, Shannon Fouks
and many relatives & friends

Funeral Services are at 3:00pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
in Deer Park, WI

Visitation is at the church on Wednesday from 1  -  3  pm
