Ronald W. Lien, age 74 of Clear Lake, WI, died on early Thursday morning, November 5, 2015, at the Pioneer Nursing Home in Prairie Farm, WI where he had been a resident since 2009.
Ronald William Lien was born on January 5, 1941, in Chicago, IL the son of William and Ruby (Gregersen) Lien. He grew up in Clear Lake, WI, was confirmed at Moe Lutheran Church and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1959. Ron was married to Kathie Gilbertson on March 10, 1962 at Moe Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. Together they made their home in Clayton, WI and raised four children, Jeffrey, Craig, Shelley and Jamie. Ron owned and operated Lien's Body Shop in Clayton, WI until 1980. He then owned and operated General Machine in Clayton, WI and worked as a machinist and fabricator for many years. In 2000 Ron and Kathie moved to Clear Lake, WI. Ron's talents were many. He was very inventive and could build or fix almost anything. In his spare time he enjoyed restoring old cars, riding motorcycle, hunting, fishing and camping. Ron especially loved spending time with his kids and grand kids. Ron suffered a stroke in 1993 and his health continued to deteriorate until the time of his death.

and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.
Interment - Moe Lutheran Cemetery, Clayton, WI
