Roger W. Stetler

Roger W. Stetler age 79 of Clear Lake, WI,  passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Willow Ridge Nursing Home in Amery, WI.  

Roger William Stetler was born on August 14, 1936 in Otter Creek, WI  the son of William & Frances (Ronning) Stetler.   He grew up in Dunn County and attended school in Chetek, WI.   Roger was married to Marie  Steies on December 15, 1956 at the Justice of the Peace in Hastings, MN.  Together they made their home in St. Paul, MN where he was employed at Swift for a number of years.  In 1964, Roger and Marie moved to Clear Lake, WI where they operated a dairy farm for many years and raised their four children, David, Steve, Linda, & Valerie.   In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving in the truck with his canine companion Sammy,  telling stories, and visiting with family and friends.  

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marie;  and his parents, William and Frances Stetler;
and granddaughter, Rhiannon Nelson
