Robert J. Williams

Robert J. Williams,  age 78 of Clear Lake, WI passed away early on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at his home with his wife by his side. 

Robert John Williams was born on August 26, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Koert & Donna Marie (Kane) Williams.  When he was 4 years old, Robert was adopted by his great aunt & uncle, Hieko & Olive (Wentworth) Williams and he grew up in Parkersburg, Iowa.    After graduating from Parkersburg High School, Robert joined the US army in 1966 and served a tour of duty in Vietnam.  After he was honorably discharged in 1968, Robert returned to Iowa and married Theresa LuAnn Rewerts on August 15, 1970.  Together they made their home Parkersburg and raised 2 children, John & Robin.  Over the years Robert worked as a machinist for several companies, including Chamberlin Manufacturing, John Deere and Viking Pump in Waterloo & Cedar Falls, Iowa.  He later moved to Minnesota and worked at Electrocraft in the Twin Cities.  In 1986, Robert moved to Clear Lake, WI and continued to work as a machinist for R & D Machine and OXBO and most recently at ML Anderson in Amery, WI.    In his spare time, Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing in his early years, bowling, playing cards, collecting coins, working crossword puzzles, reading westerns and history books, watching classic cartoons and movies.   He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Koert & Donna Williams and Hieko & Olive Williams;

adopted brother, Bill Williams; & brother in law, Doug Rewerts;

mother and father in law,  Roy & Nicki Rewerts

He is survived by

Wife  -  Theresa LuAnn Williams -  Clear Lake, WI

Son  -  John Roy (Bonnie) Williams  -  29 Palms, CA

Daughter  -  Robin (Ron) Ekblad  -  Birchwood, WI
