Richard J. Priebe

Richard “Ricky” J. Priebe passed away on May 10, 2024 at the Golden Age Manor in Amery, WI at the age of 73. Ricky was born December 27, 1950 to Jerome and Dorothy (Haradon) Priebe in St. Paul, MN. Ricky attended grade school in North Saint Paul, MN. His family moved to Clear Lake, WI in 1962 where Ricky attended Clear Lake High School. Ricky had one daughter, Lisa.

Ricky farmed with his dad in Clear Lake until 1999. He also built silos for a short time. In 1999 Ricky moved to his home on Staples Lake in Comstock, WI. Ricky loved the outdoors, and he was an excellent hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed trapping, deer hunting, fishing, and gardening. He had a large vegetable garden where he canned a lot of his food. He liked to fish, sometimes every day, when he was younger. He enjoyed living on the lake and spending time with his brothers and friends.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers Robert Priebe, Roger Priebe and Randolph Priebe of Clear Lake, WI, his daughter Lisa Austin, as well as other relatives and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Richard's Life on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 4 -7 pm at the Scheuermann Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery at a later date.
