Raymond J. Conklin, age 75 of Deer Park, WI, formerly of Mahtomedi, MN died unexpectedly on August 28, 2014 from injuries sustained in a equipment accident.
Raymond Jean Conklin was born on December 4, 1938 in Duluth, MN the son of Auris & Mae (Roos) Conklin. He grew up in Floodwood, MN and graduated from High School there in 1956. Ray joined the US Air Force and served from 1956 to 1959 when he was honorably discharged. He began working construction in the Twin Cities and eventually owned and operated Conklin Construction. He lived and worked in Minnesota and the Twin Cities area for many years before retiring in Deer Park, WI. In his spare time, Ray enjoyed motorcycles, traveling, baking, helping and spending time with his friends & his kittens.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.
He is survived by a sister and will be deeply missed by family and many friends.
