Ramona Kaye Jones (Christensen)

Ramona Kaye (Christensen) Jones, age 58 of Burnsville, MN formerly of Clear Lake, WI, died on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Ramona Kaye (Christensen) Jones was born July 15, 1963, the daughter of Marvin and Karen (Bauerfield) Christensen in Amery, WI. She was baptized at Moe Lutheran Church and attended Clear Lake Public Schools. Ramona worked in the health care field most of her life. She did mostly home care and really enjoyed helping people. She had two daughters, Nichole, and Asha Christensen. Nichole has two sons Jadon 15 and Isaiah 10; they were the light of Ramona’s life. Ramona did a lot of traveling in her lifetime. Her soul mate Frank Gayles who was also very important to her.  She was diagnosed with Leukemia a year and a half ago and Ramona lost her battle with it on July 2, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Christensen; uncle’s Donald Bauerfield & Marlyn (Butch) Christensen; stepfather, Hoyt Pederson; Grandparents, Raymond & Agnes Bauerfield, Stanley & Elma Christensen; also cousin, Nicholas Bauerfield.

Left to remember her here in life is her soul mate, Frank Gayles; daughters, Nichole and Asha Christensen; grandsons, Jadon & Isaiah Christensen-Randle; mother, Karen Christensen Pederson; sister Rhonda Schwartz;  brothers, Dennis (Jolene) Christensen & Rodney Christensen; step brother & sisters,  Bruce Pederson,  Lee & Jerry Bostrum, Kay & Dan Speich & Karen & Rick Elmer; Aunts, Uncle, and many cousins.

There will be a Celebration of Ramona’s life at Maple Knoll in the Clear Lake Park on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 2-4 pm.
