Pauline L. Stein

Pauline L. Stein age 81 of White Bear Lake, MN formerly of Amery, WI, died peacefully in her sleep early Monday morning, August 27, 2012 at her home in White Bear Lake.  

Pauline Laverne Stein was born on June 24, 1931 in Plum City, WI, the daughter of Paul & Ruth (Nelson) Erickson.  She grew up near Stockholm, WI, was confirmed at the Lund Mission Covenant Church there, and graduated from Maiden Rock High School in 1949.   Pauline then attended the Charles Miller School of Nursing in St. Paul, MN, graduated in 1952 and worked for a short time as an LPN in the Twin Cities.   On August 15, 1953, Pauline was married to Clinton W. Stein at the Lund Mission Covenant Church and they later moved to Amery, WI where they raised their two children, Julie & Paul.  Pauline loved serving in various ways over the years at the United Covenant Church in Clear Lake.  After the children left home, Pauline worked as a cook for many years at Lien Elementary School in Amery.  She loved to bake and cook and used this as her ministry to bless others whenever she could.  She dearly loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.  

She is preceded in death by her parents Paul & Ruth Erickson and her brother Willis Erickson.
