Paul P. Prusak

Paul  P.  Prusak,  age 88 of Clayton, WI, died unexpectedly at Our House Memory Care in Rice Lake on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. 

Paul Peter Prusak was born on July 9, 1935 in Clear Lake, WI the son of George, Jr. & Susie (Reshetar) Prusak. He grew up in Clayton, WI on the family farm where Paul lived all 88 years. Paul was baptized and confirmed at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. Paul attended the Reeve Country School thru 8th Grade and graduated from Clayton High School in 1953.  Paul took over his family’s Century dairy farm at the age of 18 when his father died in 1954.  On July 14, 1956, Paul was married to Jane Pagel at Zion Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake and together they raised one son, Tim.  Paul started a Pioneer Seed Dealership in 1959 which remains in the family today. Paul loved going to tractor pulls and belonged to the “Hot Chocolate Gang” snowmobile club for many years. Paul started a ritual of taking his young grandsons for a tractor ride every Sunday afternoon. Paul also enjoyed watching his grandsons’ events including pedal pulls, football, basketball and track. In addition to operating and “putzing” around his dairy farm, Paul loved attending and working auctions. He was also an active life time member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church.

Paul is proceeded in death by his parents George, Jr. & Susie (Reshetar) Prusak.

He is survived by

 Son  -  Tim Prusak  -  Clayton, WI

 Grandsons  -  Lane & Lyle Prusak  -  Clayton, WI

 
Funeral Services at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Clayton, WI on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at
10:30 A.M.

Visitation at Holy Trinity Church on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 4 - 7PM and an hour before the service on Tuesday
