Paul Anderson Obituary

Paul L. Anderson, age 78, of Prairie Farm, WI passed away on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the Deerfield Memory Care Center in New Richmond, WI.

Paul LeRoy Anderson was born May 4, 1941 in Chicago, IL. the son of Carl and Ruth Anderson.  At the age of 6 he moved with his family to Sweden to live on a dairy farm.  He had many good memories of his Aunts, Uncles and cousins in Sweden.

Paul moved back to America when he turned 18 years old.  He lived in Chicago again where he worked as an auto mechanic and then as a draftsman.  He was drafted at age 22 into the Army, serving a stint in Vietnam.  He was proud to serve his country.

He met his wife, Betty, at church in Chicago.  They traveled to Sweden to be married in the presence of his parents who still lived in Sweden.   The first years of their marriage they lived in Wayzata, MN.  Paul worked in auto and insurance sales.  In 1977 they moved to the dairy farm in Prairie Farm, WI.  Paul was a dairy farmer who eventually switched and became a beef farmer.  Paul also drove school bus for Prairie Farm prior to his retirement.  Once he retired, he and Betty enjoyed traveling, visiting 49 of the 50 states, along with visiting other parts of the world.  Paul sang with the American Swedish Institute male chorus in Minneapolis.  He loved his Swedish heritage and the music.

Paul was a man of God, loving and serving the Lord as a deacon, Bible study leader and musician.  His faith was important to him.  He was bold in his conversations with everyone he met, sharing the good news of the Bible, wanting people to know Jesus as Lord and    Savior.
