Olive B. Maloney

Olive B. Maloney, age 93 of Clear Lake, WI, formerly of Eau Claire, WI, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the Willow Ridge Healthcare Center in Amery, WI.

Olive Beatrice Maloney was born on April 6, 1919 in Adams County, WI, the daughter of Henry &    Elizabeth (Summerton) Janke. She grew up and attended school in Oxford, WI and went on to graduate High School from Bethel Academy in Arpin, WI in 1937. Olive was married to Curtis R. Maloney on December 21 , 1941 in Grand Marsh, WI. Together they operated a dairy farm near Strum, WI, and raised three children, Dale, Delmar, and Dennis. In 1961 they moved to Eau Claire, WI and replaced dairy farming with turkey farming and added two more children to the family, Ron and Darlene. During her time in Eau Claire, Olive worked as an elementary School teacher at St. John’s Catholic School and also at the Seventh-day Adventist School there. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, reading, music and playing piano. Olive was also an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Maloney; parents, Henry & Elizabeth Janke; & son, Dale Maloney

Funeral Services at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Clear Lake, WI
on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 11 A.M.

Visitation is one hour before services at the church on Monday
