Norma M. Asp

Norma M. Asp, age 86 of Clear Lake, WI died early on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Amery, WI.

Norma Marie Asp was born on January 17, 1927 in Fertile, MN, the daughter of George & Alvina (Lindberg) Carlson. She grew up in Fertile and graduated from High School there in 1944. On December 15, 1945, Norma was married to Walter Pearson at Moe Lutheran Church, dairy farmed in Clear Lake, WI and raised two sons, Bradley & Brian. Norma moved back to the Fertile area after Walter’s death in 1969 where she married Jack Kjorvestad in 1971. Shortly after Jack's death in 1979, she moved back to  Clear Lake, WI. She was married to Raymond Asp on July 31, 1980 and together they farmed for many years. She enjoyed going to garage sales, working with Ray in the yard, and cooking and baking. In her spare time, Norma enjoyed collecting dolls, owls, crocheting, puzzles, and having coffee parties with family and friends. She was an active member of Moe Lutheran Church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Pearson, Jack Kjorvestad & Raymond Asp; son, Bradley Pearson; sisters, Gladys Carlson, Mildred Warren, Francis DeGeldere, & Adelaine (Addie) Stevens; brothers Elmer Carlson, Clarence  Carlson, & Edward Carlson.

She is survived by
