Myrna J. Olson

Myrna J. Olson, age 88 of rural Clear Lake, WI passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2025 at her home.

Myrna Jean Olson was born on February 15, 1937 in Blackbrook Township, WI, the daughter of Henry & Lillian (Peterson) Elmer.  She grew up in Blackbrook Township and graduated from Amery High School in 1955.  Myrna was married to Theodore “Ted” Olson on January 7, 1956 in Clear Lake, WI.  Together they made their home in rural Clear Lake where they operated a dairy farm and raised 3 sons, Ronald, Rodney, & Jon.  In addition to taking care of her family, Myrna also worked various other jobs throughout the years, including Fabri-Tek in Amery, WI, Friday Canning in New Richmond, WI and McMillan in Woodville.   She was also longtime member of Moe Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.   In her spare time Myrna enjoyed doing arts and crafts and caring for her animals and pets, especially her Boston terriers and creating homes for her Purple Martins.  She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Lillian Elmer; infant son;

great grandson, Jameson Beer;  brother; Ken Elmer;  sister, Eileen Rendler;

 & brothers in law,  Tom Rendler  &  Steve VanHeuklom
