Michael A. Kirk

Michael A. Kirk, age 74 of Clear Lake, WI died peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024 at his home after a 2-year battle with cancer.

Michael Allen Kirk was born on March 25, 1950, in Baldwin, WI the son of Glen & Viola (Johnson) Kirk.  He grew up in Clear Lake, WI and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1968.  Mike was married to Kimberly Bruder on May 22, 1971 at the United Methodist Church in Clear Lake.  They made their home in Amery before moving to Clear Lake in 1980 and together raised 4 children, Angie, Chad, Adam & Josh.  Mike worked at Andersen Windows for a short time before going to work at Land O Lakes/AFP in Clear Lake where he retired as a supervisor after 44 years.  In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, watching Packer games, bowling and the occasional nap.    He especially loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be sorely missed by all who know him.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Glen “Bud” & Viola Kirk; infant sister, Kristie Kirk; 

in-laws, Leo & Genevieve Bruder; brother in law, Terry Miller; niece, Brittany; nephews, Kenny & Aaron
