McKenna Joy Christensen

McKenna J. Christensen,  age 24 of Luck, WI, formerly of Clear Lake, WI, passed away suddenly on June 28, 2026 in Grand Rapids, MN. 

McKenna Joy Christensen was born on November 7, 2001 in Amery, WI, the daughter of Kyle Christensen and Jessica Schutte.  She grew up in Clear Lake, WI, was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 2020.   After graduation, McKenna attended Hibbing Community College in Hibbing, MN for two semesters  before deciding to move to Dallas, TX.   She returned to Luck, WI in 2023 and has been working as bartender, server and manager at the Balsam Lake Lodge in Balsam Lake, WI.  In her spare time, McKenna loved shopping, traveling and hanging out with her friends, family, Kacey & her dog Ruger.  She was honored and blessed to become God-mother to her cousin Avery.  Mckenna will be sorely missed by her family and many friends. 

She is preceded in death by her grandpa’s, John Schutte, Warren Christensen, Don Schuldt & Ralph Messer; 

& uncle, Brady Christensen

Funeral Service will be at  11 a.m. on Tuesday,  July 7, 2026 at First Luthern Church in

Clear Lake, WI

Visitation will be on Monday,  July 6, 2026 from  4  -  8 pm at First Lutheran Church and

one hour before the service on Tuesday at the church.
