Mary Lou Leslie

Mary L. Leslie,  age 70 of rural Amery, WI,  died peacefully at her home on May 25, 2024 surrounded by her family after a short, yet tough battle with cancer. 

Mary Lou Leslie was born on October 9, 1953  in Amery, WI  the daughter of Henry & Dolly (Halvorson) Pearson.  She grew up in Amery, was baptized and confirmed at Balsam Lutheran Church and graduated from Amery High School in 1972.    Mary was married to Danny L. Leslie on December 9, 1978 at Balsam Lutheran Church and together they made their home in Amery, WI.  In her spare time she enjoyed gardening & planting, doing crafts, boating, and especially loved shopping and garage sales.  She will  be sorely missed by her family and many friends.  

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Henry & Dolly Pearson;  infant sister, Joyce; 

brothers, Theodore, Chester “Chet” & Larry Pearson; grandson, Lucas Goldstein;

nephews, Nathan & Randy Leslie,

sisters-in-law, Donette Leslie, Lucia Pearson,  Marylou Pearson, Artis Nelson & Diane Juhnke;

father & mother in law, Merle & Betty Leslie;

brother-in-law, Gary Leslie.

She is survived by

The family of Mary would also like to thank Adoray Home Care and Hospice for their service and compassion.

There will be a Celebration of Mary’s life from  2 pm - 7pm on Saturday July 6, 2024 at the Last Call Speak Easy Event Center in Clear Lake, WI
