Mary Lou Hughes

Mary Lou Hughes, age 78 of Clear Lake, WI, formerly of Knapp, WI  died on Friday, July 7, 2017  at the Amery Hospital and Clinic.

Mary Lou Hughes was born on August 11, 1938 in Knapp, WI,  the daughter of Arnold & Fern (Jeske) Schutts. She grew up in Knapp, WI  and  attended High School in Boyceville.    Mary Lou was married to Milton  Hughes in 1958 and together they made their home in Knapp, WI where they operated a dairy farm and raised three children, Tom, Lori, & Jim.   They later divorced.  Mary Lou was an avid reader of the Bible and loved the Lord.  She was also a loving homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking and taking care of her family.  The past twenty years Mary Lou had been a resident of Polk County, living in Clear Lake most of that time.  She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Lori Bowell, grandchildren, Jason, Jesse & Laken Hughes; parents Arnold and Fern Schutts; brother, Raymond Schutts & sister, Doris Keck.
