Marvin W. Sias

Marvin W. Sias, age 82 of Amery, WI, passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2026 at the Amery Hospital. 

Marvin Wayne Sias was born on June 6, 1943 in New Richmond, WI the son of William & Florence (Bruce) Sias.  He grew up in Clear Lake, WI and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1961.  On July 21, 1962, Marvin was  married to Sandra Bolling at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Baldwin, WI.  They made their home in the Twin Cities and later moved to the North Branch - Pine City area where they raised 6 children, Julie, Darlene, Wayne, Corey, Matthew & Joshua.   Over the years, Marvin worked as a machinist at Star Machine & Tool  before opening Marv’s Country Boy Convenience Store in Cambridge, MN.   After several years, he began working as a general manager for Fleet Way Stores in Cambridge and Pine City, MN and later went on to work at People Pack It Printing in Cambridge, MN.   In 1996, Marv and Sandy moved back to Clear Lake, WI where he began working as a bus driver for the Turtle Lake Casino and for the Amery School District.   In his spare time, Marv enjoyed being outdoors,  taking walks in the woods, camping, hunting & fishing.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles with the CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) and driving  ATV’s with  Hardees Rough Riders.   Marv was also a member of  the Clear Lake Lions Club and active at the Apple River Community Church.  He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William & Florence Sias;   & infant daughter,  Jennifer Sias.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at The Apple River Community Church, in Amery, WI

Visitation  on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 9 AM - 12 Noon at the Apple River Community Church

There will be a private family interment at the Clear Lake Cemetery in Clear Lake, WI following the luncheon.
