Mark L. Tellijohn

Mark  L.  Tellijohn, age 69 of Forest, WI died on November 14, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his family, after an 18 month battle with Leukemia.

Mark Lee Tellijohn was born on August 11, 1955 in New Richmond, WI, the son of Gordon & Charlotte (Hawksford) Tellijohn.  He grew up on the family diary farm, was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church in Forest, WI and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1973.    Mark was married to Kristie Rae Hansen on June 26, 1976 at First Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, WI and together they raised 4 sons, Lee, Steven, Joseph & Lucas.   Mark loved working on his dairy farm, and with the addition of his son Lee, in 1996, and a bit later, his nephew Michael Cress, the farm grew from a 74 cow stanchion dairy barn, to a 225+ cow dairy parlor operation.   In addition to farming, Mark operated a seed dealership and sold for various companies for over 40 years.   Mark also enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.   He supported area trap shooting clubs and attended many high school sporting events over the years.  He was also known as being very knowledgeable in many areas of remodeling, repairs and home improvement.  Mark was as an active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest and will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon & Charlotte Tellijohn;

sister in-law, Danette Tellijohn & brother in-laws, Carlton Cress and Charles Kuhl;

Memorial Service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest, WI on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 2 pm 

with a visitation there on Tuesday from 12-2pm

Interment will be at the Cylon Cemetery in Cylon, WI.

A Celebration of Marks’ Life will be held at Raising the Bar - Bar and Grill in Clear Lake, WI starting around 4:00 PM

on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
