Mark A. Buhr

Mark A. Buhr,  age 50 of Clear Lake, WI,  died on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at his home after a 3 month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Mark Anthony Buhr was born on July 21, 1965, in Amery, WI,  the son of John & Gloria (Rothe) Buhr.   He grew up in Clear Lake, was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Catholic Church there, and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1983.  Mark worked for many years as a mechanic at Buhr Brother’s Transport in Clear Lake.   He was married to Sherry Jo Rowell on February 14, 1987 at the First Lutheran Church in Clear Lake.   Mark was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and became a member at First Lutheran Church.  Together, Mark and Sherry made their home in the Clear Lake area and raised three children, John, Amanda, & Cody.    In his spare time, Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR.   He also enjoyed restoring and driving his 1966 Ford Galaxy.      Mark especially loved spending time with his family and friends.   The past five years, Mark worked for the Village of Clear Lake and became the Supervisor of the Street and Water Department.   He was also a member of Clear Lake Fire Department.  Mark will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.
