Lynn K. Norling

Lynn K. Norling, age 77 of Turtle Lake, formerly of Deer Park, WI, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.  

Lynn Kathryn Norling was born on February 3, 1944 in Amery, WI the daughter of Knud & Catherine (Gerber) Lorentzen.  She grew up in Deer Park, WI, was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Forest, WI and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1962.   After graduation, Lynn worked as a telephone operator in New Richmond and later went on to work at the DMV in St. Paul, MN.  In 1971, Lynn was married to LeRoy Norling in South Dakota and she raised one son, Joel.  They later divorced.   Lynn then moved back to Deer Park and worked on the family farm.  In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, embroidery, gardening, playing cards and sold Tupperware.    Lynn later moved to Turtle Lake, WI and worked several years  in Guest Services at the St. Croix Casino there.  She was also a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake.  Lynn had been a resident at Heritage Lakeside Nursing Home in Rice Lake for the past couple years.

She is preceded in death by her parents,  Knud & Catherine Lorentzen;  and infant brother, Edward.

There will be a graveside  service at Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park, WI  on May 28, 2022 at 1PM.
