Lester C. Frank

Lester C. Frank, age 82 of Clear Lake, WI , died on Sunday,  February 28, 2016, at Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Amery, WI.

Lester Carver Frank was born on August 20, 1933, in Forest Township, St. Croix County, the son of Lester & Delia (Bethke) Frank.  He grew up in Forest Township, was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church there and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood City.    Lester attended country school in Forest and later attended Clear Lake High School.      He was married to Berdenne Sempf on July 6, 1951 in Stillwater, MN.   Together they farmed in Forest Township for many years and raised three children, Carla. Mary, & Larry.   In 1995, Lester retired from farming and worked seasonally at Friday Canning in New Richmond until 2010.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, bowling, gardening, canning and riding motorcycle.    Lester was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, WI and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.  

He is preceded in death by his son, Larry; parents, Lester and Delia; sister, Rosie Soderberg
