Kevin J. Daniel

Kevin  J.  Daniel,  age 71 of St. Paul, MN,  died at the Amery Hospital on October 6, 2023, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer. 

 Kevin James Daniel was born on July 16, 1952  in New Richmond, WI  the son of Charles & Lucille (Kennetz) Daniel.   He grew up in Clear Lake, WI and moved with his family to San Jacinto, CA at the age of 12.  Kevin graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1970 and served for a short time in the US Navy.    Kevin returned to Minnesota and worked for many years as a lab assistant for the University of MN doing animal medical research.  Kevin loved the outdoors and traveling, especially taking trips to his favorite spots in South Dakota and on Lake Superior.   He also enjoyed following college sports, football and basketball.  Kevi  especially loved spending time with his friends and his family and best friend, his Papillon dog “Bijiou”.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Lucille Daniel;  

brothers, Charles (Sue) Daniel,  Gary “Butch” (Connie) Daniel,  & David Daniel; 

sister,  Joyce Daniel  and  brother’s in law,  John Campion  &  Pat McCann

He is survived by

There will be a Celebration of Kevin’s life on Sunday, October 22, 2023  from 2  -  6pm at the Clear Lake Park Chalet in Clear Lake, WI. 

In Lieu of flowers,  the family prefers memorials
