Keith A. Rosen, age 26 of Venice, FL, formerly of Clear Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 18, 2015.
Keith Allan Rosen was born on February 24, 1989 at the Mountain Home Air Force Base near Mountain Home, Idaho, the son of Terry and Hope (Wurtinger-Swagger) Rosen. He lived in Mountain Home and Clovis, New Mexico before moving with his family to Clear Lake, WI at the age of six years old. Keith graduated from Clear Lake High School in 2007 and worked in the Clear Lake area for a short time as a laborer. Keith had a strong passion to serve his country, and in 2009 he joined the Wisconsin National Guard in Ashland, WI and was later transferred to Charlie Battery, 3rd Battalion, 265th Air Defense Artillery in Sarasota, FL. He served as a Specialist with the Avenger Air Defense System and was an expert marksman. While in Florida, Keith worked in maintenance at the Sunset Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center in Venice, FL. He had a great love for the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or just spending time with friends and family. With his contagious smile and warm hugs, Keith could brighten a hard day and if that didn’t work, he always had a funny story that made you laugh. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
