Kathryn M. Pederson

Kathryn  M.  Pederson, age 78 of Clear Lake, WI died on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Amery, WI after a long battle with cancer.

Kathryn Marcella Pederson was born on September 27, 1946, the daughter of Eugene & Rosalee (Hrdlicka) Wade.  She grew up in Clear Lake, WI, was baptized and confirmed at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1964.  Over the years, Kathy worked as a bartender at the Long Branch Saloon and as a custodian at Clear Lake Elementary School and at Fabri-tech in Clear Lake.  In addition to raising her 5 children, Mike, Michele, Lyle, Karen and Josh, she operated a group home, served with the Clear Lake Ambulance as an EMT for 16 years, and taught at the WITC in New Richmond as a First Aid and EMT instructor.  In her spare time, Kathy enjoyed camping, fishing, crossword puzzles and playing board games.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Rosalee (Hrdlicka) Wade.

A celebration of Kathy’s  life will take place from 4  -  7 pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025

at the Scheuermann Funeral Home in Clear Lake, WI.
