John Coleman Obituary

John  L.  Coleman,  age 69 of Clear Lake, WI, died unexpectedly at his home on January 6, 2024.

 

 John Louis Coleman  was born on July 3, 1954 in St. Paul MN, the son of Joseph & Donna (McSherry) Coleman.    He grew up in St. Paul with  9 brothers and 3 sisters.  John joined the US Army in 1971, served honorably at Ft. Hood, TX  and was discharged in 1973.  He continued to serve his county in the US Army Reserves until 1977.  John was married to Debi Tague in 1975 and together they had one daughter, Misty Dawn.  Over the years,  John held various positions of employment in and around the twin cities.  The past several years he made his home in Clear Lake, WI  and worked as shelf stacker at Walmart in New Richmond.  Let's send him to heaven with a bang,  no tears,  just happiness that he is in no more pain.  If you would like to help his family out....you may send flowers and donations.

 

 He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Donna Coleman; brothers Daniel, Jay, & Michael Coleman; & sister, Beth Jones;

 

 John is survived by his daughter, Misty Dawn Coleman; 2 grandchildren & 2 great– grandchildren;  siblings, Donald "Butch" Coleman, Josephine (Mike) Bussiere, Terry (Su) Coleman, Tim (Lynne) Coleman, Elaine (Mike) Kleid, & Tom Sloat;  aunts, uncles, and many other relatives & friends.

 

 Interment with full military honors will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will be on…….(to be determined).
