Jeneanne (Wittstock) Moe Obituary

Jeneanne K. (Wittstock) Moe, age 89 of Clayton, WI passed away on December 27, 2025 at the St. Croix Health and    Rehab Center in New Richmond, WI after a lengthy illness.

Jeneanne Karlene Moe was born on January 30, 1936 at her aunt Blanche’s home in Clear Lake, WI, the daughter of Fredrick & Hilda (Kuhn) Wittstock.   She was baptized at Redeemer Church of Amery, WI in 1937 and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran church of Deer Park, WI in August of 1951.   Jeneanne attended school in North St. Paul until she was 6 years old when her family moved to Deer Park.  She attended Highland School  there to the age of 9 until her family moved to Star Prairie.  Jeneane then attended Wagon Landing School there and went on to graduate from Amery High School in 1954.  She was married to Richard A. Moe on  July 28, 1955 at the Huntington Lutheran Church near Star Prairie, WI and  together raised 3 children, Debra, Denise & Jeffery.  During this time, Jeneanne worked as a phone operator in   addition to being a farm wife and taking care of the kids.   They farmed near Deronda, WI on Dick’s family farm for 10 years  before moving  to Star Prairie to live next door to her parents who helped raise the kids while they both worked.   Their marriage later dissolved.  In 1973, Jeneane began working as a CNA at Holy Family Hospital (Westfields) in New  Richmond, WI and eventually progressed to unit secretary.  In 1993, Jeneanne moved to Amery, WI and continued working at Holy Family until 1998.   She then began working at the Amery hospital as unit secretary and later as surgical scheduler.    When her great grandson Dakota was born, Jeneanne helped his parents Kevin & Katie in caring for him.  After their marriage dissolved, she continued to care for Dakota & Kevin and lived with them in New Richmond until 2020.  It was at this time, after a bout with Covid, that Jeneanne, Dakota & Kevin moved in with her daughter Debra and her husband Gary in  Clayton, WI.    Jeneanne loved being a  caregiver to her family, and also enjoyed sewing, embroidery, traveling, camping and taking many trips to Pattison Park.   She passed away on December 27, 2025 after telling hospice she was going to live through Christmas so there were no sad memories for her family.
