Irene Scott

Irene Scott, age 91 of Hudson, WI, formerly of Clear Lake, WI, died early Monday morning, June 15, 2015 at the Comforts of Home Care Center in River Falls, WI.

Irene Scott was born on September 20, 1923 in East Lincoln Township, Polk County, WI, the daughter  of    Bert and Anna (Asperstrand) Kerr.  She attended Amery area schools and graduated from Osceola High School in 1942.    On September 19, 1942, Irene was united in marriage to Ronald O. Scott.  They were married on the Scott family farm and together raised seven children; Evangeline, William, Norma, Jerome, Katie, Lola, & Thomas.  They farmed in Black Brook township until 1949, when they sold the dairy and moved to Hudson, WI.   They came to retire in Clear Lake, WI in 1964.  In her spare time, Irene enjoyed doing puzzles,  playing Skip-bo and spending time with her family.  She loved to travel, and with Ronald took many trips around the country including Hawaii, Washington DC and a tour of Europe.  Irene was also an active member of First   Lutheran Church in Clear Lake.   She moved to Hudson in 1998 and has lived at Comforts of Home in River Falls since 2009.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald;  son, William Scott;  daughter, Evangeline Hart;
parents, Bert and Anna  Kerr; brothers, Harold, Rex, Russell, Gaar, Mark & Norman Kerr;
and twin sister, Katherine Webster
