Hoyt Pederson age 86 of Clear Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 11, 2017.
Hoyt Orville Pederson was born on June 3, 1930 in New Richmond, WI, the son of Peder & Elma Pederson. He grew up in New Richmond, WI and graduated in 1949. Hoyt was married in 1951 to Jacqueline Feuerpfeil. Together they made their home in New Richmond and raised 4 children, Bruce, Lee Ann, Kay & Karen. Hoyt worked for Citgo and Gulf oil distributor then moved on to work for the Washington County Government Center where he retired. After Jacqueline’s passing, Hoyt married Karen Christensen on July 7, 1990. Together they resided in Clear Lake, WI and spent winters in Florida. He was an accomplished golfer, winning many tournaments and club championships. Hoyt shared his love for the game with his entire family. He loved to visit with his many friends, watch Wisconsin sports especially Packers and his favorite game shows, play cards, go to the casino, attend Friday night fish frys, and travel. Hoyt was also an active member of Moe Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. He lived life with a sense of adventure, humor and a positive attitude; he will be missed by family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Pederson; parents Peder & Elma Pederson;
and his brothers, Parnell, Amos, & Earl Pederson

A memorial service will be held at Moe Lutheran Church Clear Lake, WI on Thursday, March 16, 2017 Funeral at 1 p.m. with a visitation from 11a.m. to 1p.m. The family encourages Hoyt’s friends and family to wear your favorite sports attire in honor of his love of sports.
