Gloria D. Huttel

Gloria  D. Huttel , age 74 of Amery, WI, formerly of Luck, WI, died on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Amery.

Gloria Darlene Huttel was born on January 1, 1950 in Detroit, MI  the daughter of William & Peggy (Smith) Rearick.   She moved around the country often with her family due to her father’s military service and they wound up settling in    Monterey County California.  Gloria grew up there and graduated from Seaside High School in 1968.  In 1970, she was married to Michael C. Perham and together they had one son, Michael.  They later divorced.  During her time in California, Gloria worked as a waitress at various restaurants in the Monterey area.   In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, dancing, and participated in roller skating competitions.   It was also during this time that she married William “Bill” Huttel.   After their divorce, Gloria decided to move to Wisconsin and made her home in Luck.   She has been a resident of Golden Age Manor in Amery since 2017. 

She is preceded in death by her parents,  William & Peggy Rearick; 

and brothers,  David & Mark Rearick

She is survived by

Son  -  Michael  Perham -  Salinas, CA

Grandson  -  Joshua Perham

There will be a Celebration of Gloria’s life at a later date.
