Gerald Gravelle Obituary

Jerry W. Gravelle, age 61 of Deer Park, WI, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family, friends and loving wife on  Friday, March 22, 2019 after a 4 month battle with cancer.

Gerald William Gravelle was born on February 3, 1958  in  St. Paul, MN, the son of  William & Judith (Plummer) Anderson.  He grew up in the  Highland Park area of St. Paul and attended school there.   In 1977, Jerry joined the U.S.  Air Force and served in Guam as an Electrical Production Specialist.  He was honorably discharged in 1978, returned to Minnesota and made his home in Inver Grove Heights.  During this time,  Jerry worked with his family as a mechanic and press operator.  He later owned and operated his own  Auto Repair and Restoration business together with Jody Weiss in St. Paul Park, MN.  They later moved that business to Turtle Lake, WI  until 2008 when Jerry couldn’t work any more  due to his deteriorating health.  Together they moved to Amery, WI and eventually settled in Deer Park in 2014.  In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed racing cars, restoring automobiles, and woodworking.   He will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.
