George R. Hislop II, age 65 of Clear Lake, WI, died unexpectedly on February 17, 2026, at his home in Clear Lake.
George Robert Hislop was born on October 21, 1960, in St. Paul, MN the son of Albert & Vivian (Werra) Hislop. He grew up on the East side of St. Paul and graduated from North St. Paul High School in 1979. After graduation, George attended Lakeview Community College in White Bear Lake, MN and studied graphic arts. He went on to work as a security guard for Metropolitan Protection in St. Paul before moving to Clear Lake, WI in 1985. During this time, he went to work in the parts department at Fay Auto in Amery and later worked at O’Reilly’s in New Richmond, WI and the NAPA Store in Cumberland, WI. In 2013, George went to work in security at the St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake, WI. In his spare time, George enjoyed working on his vehicles, collecting and shooting guns, attending car and tractor shows and collecting MN State Fair Police Car magnets. He especially enjoyed listening to music, spending time with friends and family was known for pranking those he loved.
George is proceeded in death by his parents, Albert & Vivian Hislop;
& brother, Albert Hislop, Jr.; & niece, Brandie Hislop

There will be a Celebration of George’s Life from 1 - 4 pm on Friday, February 27. 2026 at the Scheuermann Funeral Home
Interment will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery at a later date.
