George A. Anderson, age 60, of Clear Lake, Wisconsin, formerly of Cokato, Minnesota died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, September 13, 2020.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Rose City Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Ralph Erickson officiating. The service will be broadcast live on 96.1 FM reaching cars in the parking lot. Interment will take place at Rose City Evangelical Free Cemetery.
George Alda was born on February 16, 1960, to David and Katherine (Girtz) Anderson in St. Paul. He grew up in Cokato where he graduated high school in 1978. George was united in marriage to Gwen Buttenhoff at Stockholm Lutheran Church in 1979, and together they raised their three children, Gretchen, Gordy, and Garrick. Over the years, George worked in the Twin Cities area in construction, railroad maintenance and driving truck. The past few years, he had been working as a driver for Lyft. In his spare time, George looked forward to and greatly enjoyed deer hunting with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, David; grandson, Alden Anderson; and granddaughter, Victoria Pearson.
