Eugene C. Paulson

Eugene C. Paulson, age 73 of Amery, WI, formerly of Clear Lake, WI,  died early on Thursday morning, December 20, 2012 at  Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Eugene Carl Paulson was born on April 19, 1939 in Amery, WI, the son Howard & Adeline (Amundson) Paulson.   He grew up in and around the Clear Lake/ Clayton area and graduated from Clayton High School in 1958.  After graduating, Eugene join the US Marines and later served in the US Army Reserves.   On December 13, 1969, he was married to Harriet Hatalla, made their home in Clear Lake,  and together they raised 4 children,  Patrick, Heather, Shawn & Gretchen. Eugene worked for many years in Clayton as a cheese maker retiring from Stella Cheese/Foremost Dairy in 2002.    He loved spending time with his grandkids, and spent the last few years gaming with them thru the internet.  Eugene has lived in Amery, WI the past few years.  

He is preceded  in death by his parents, Howard & Adeline; grand daughter,  Elizabeth Paulson;
& brother Phillip Paulson
