Edward F. Barfknecht, age 51 of Clayton, WI, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, July 16, 2015.
Edward Frank Barfknecht was born on February 2, 1964, in Cumberland, WI, the son of Edward & Sylvia (Yarabeck) Mueller. When Ed was very young, he was adopted by Sylvia’s husband Arnold Barfknecht. Ed grew up in the Clayton/Reeve area and attended school in Clayton and Clear Lake. He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1983. Ed worked for a short time at Robin Manufacturing inHudson, WI before working as an auto mechanic. He was the last owner and operator of the filling station in Reeve, WI. Ed loved tinkering with small engines and worked recently as handyman. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Ed’s been living his life with Donna Revers at his home in Clayton since 2003.
He is preceded in death by his mother Sylvia; his step father, Arnold Barfknecht;
half brother, Bob Robertson; & father in law, Ralph Seefeld

from 4 - 7 pm.
