Denny E. Larson

On March 22, 2015 the world lost an amazing man; however Heaven gained an extraordinary Angel.  Dennis (Denny) Eldon Larson was born December 10, 1947 to Eldon and Dolly Larson.  He married the love of his life Joy Hennessy on July 2, 1983 and spent his years living life to its fullest potential.  If he could dream it, he built it...From his three incredibly unique homes to countless drivable projects. He loved traveling the countryside , and when the critters saw 'Ol Dead Eye' coming, they hid.  He hunted in the Arctic Circle and Alaska as well.  He was a rancher of Black Angus beef cattle and a collector of Winchesters. He loved being outside enjoying nature, and enjoyed his Jack Daniel's and water, short. But his true life's passion were his girls....especially those granddaughters.  You could always find one of them in the shotgun seat of his 4-wheeler or Jeep, alongside of his Sammy Dog. When asked what they would like to say about Gramps, they wanted to include:

Cora: "He passed out, his bones went away, he grew wings and flew to Heaven"

Maggie: "Although I was the best at testing his patience, our bond grew over our fun seeking trips together, Sunday afternoon sessions of shooting trap and our mutual interest of old cars."

Emily Joy: "He was my Best Buddy, I looked up to him. He taught me how to be a fun seeker and always live life to the fullest.  "You gotta do what you gotta do," he would tell me.  I was his right hand girl and his shadow around the farm, I will miss the countless trips to Stockman's."

Karen: "It took an extraordinary man to raise this family."

Gina: "Patience...lots and lots of patience."

Joy: "I feel truly blessed to have been able to be married to my best friend. I will miss him..."

Potluck celebration of Denny's life at his home for close friends and family on Saturday March 28th, 2:00-5:00. Bring a lawn chair and your own bottle.
