Delver O. Matter, age 97 of New Richmond, WI, formerly of Emerald, WI, died on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Deerfield Gabels Care Center in New Richmond, WI

Delver Orin Matter was born on April 1, 1918 in Forest Township, St. Croix County, WI, the son of George “Ferd” & Evalena (Kohn) Matter.   He was baptized and confirmed at the Methodist Church in Forest, WI and attended Woodland School.    Delver operated the family dairy farm with his brother Curtis for many years until 1997 when they retired and moved to Pondhurst in Amery, WI.    He has been a resident of the Deerfield in New Richmond since 2004.  In his spare time Delver enjoyed watching sports on TV and was an avid Brewer and Packer fan.   He also enjoyed socializing with his family and friends.  Delver was a lifetime  member of the Forest United Methodist Church.  


Delver is preceded in death by his parents, Goerge and Evalena Matter; brothers, Lorne, Earl, Kenneth & Curtis; and sisters Alberta & Laurel.
