Delores Junkans

Delores Junkans, age 83 of Amery, WI formerly of Clear Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Amery Regional Medical Center.

Delores Junkans was born on February 17, 1933 in Clear Lake, WI, the daughter of Anton & Mary (Blosmore) Engebretson.  She  grew up in the Clear Lake area and attended Clear Lake Schools.    Delores was married to Boyd Junkans on June 16, 1951 in Livingston, Montana.  They lived there a short time before returning to Clear Lake where they made their home.  Together they raised five children, Sandy, Jimmy, Jeffrey, Henry, & Julie.   When she wasn't busy taking care of her family, Delores worked at Hartzel’s in Turtle Lake for several years.   She was also a member the Reeve Evangelical Free Church.  Delores had been a resident of the Golden Age Manor in Amery for the past eighteen years.  She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Junkans;  parents,Anton & Mary Engebretson;
sisters, Evelyn Edwards, Margaret Vinopal, Gertrude & Dorothy Engebretson;
brothers, Elmer & LuVerne Engebretson
