David E. Felland

David E. Felland, age 96 of Colfax, WI, died on December 30,2023 at the Divine Nursing and Rehab Nursing Home in St. Croix Falls, WI. 

David Eugene Felland was born on August 9,1927 in Grand Rapids, MN the son of Dr. Oscar M. & Adina (Thompson) Felland.  He grew up in Colfax, WI, was raised in the Lutheran faith and was active in the Boy Scouts, obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout.  David graduated from Colfax High School in 1944.   After graduation, he attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN for one year before enlisting in the US Navy where he proudly served during WWII.     After he was honorably discharged in 1946, David moved to Minneapolis to attend Augsburg College where he graduated with a  degree in business.  He spent most of his adult life in Minneapolis making a living in real estate and pro se law. In 1990, David returned to Colfax and lived the rest of his life in his childhood home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. OM & Adina Felland; & brothers, Orion & Philip Felland.

A graveside service will be at Moe Lutheran Cemetery in rural Clear Lake, WI on June 8, 2024 at 11 am.
