Darlene L. Hilton

Darlene L. Hilton, 79 of Clear Lake, WI,  died on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Amery Regional Medical Center.

Darlene Louise Hilton was born on March 8, 1935, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Charles and Helen (Busack) Peterson.  She grew up in Pecatonica, IL, and attended school there.   Darlene was married to Joseph V. Hilton on May 10, 1952.  In 1959 they moved from Pecatonica to Clear Lake, where they raised five sons, Brad, Kelly, Scott, Rance, & Kyle.  Over the years Darlene worked at Fabri-Tech in Amery and later owned and operated DH Cleaning Service in Clear Lake and Payson, AZ, where she and her husband moved in 1980.   They returned to the Clear Lake area in 2005.  In her spare time, Darlene was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, crocheting and visiting with family and friends.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and  great-grandchildren.  

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, Diane Louise Peterson,
daughters in law, LaVonne Hilton and Joyce Hilton and grandson Adam Hilton

Funeral Service will be on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the
Scheuermann Funeral Home in Clear Lake, WI.

Clergy  -  Pastor Dan Pearson

Visitation will be on Thursday at the Funeral Home from 4 - 7 p.m.

Interment at Clear Lake Cemetery at a later date.
