Constance “Connie” L. Daniel, age 69 of Barronett, WI formerly of Herbster and Clear Lake, WI died on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire WI with her family at her side.
I showed my daughter my hands, my old, gnarled, wrinkled hands. I told her that I thought they were beautiful. That my hands had made many beautiful things, they have grown many flowers, loved many children and fed many people. There are hundreds of people out there sleeping under blankets I have made for them. My hands have tended the sick, hugged my loved ones and cheered our life's greatest moments. I told her my hands hurt but I wouldn't have it any other way because I earned them. I want my loved ones to remember me and take life's lessons that I help teach them to always love, laugh and enjoy each other.
Connie was born May 1, 1944 in Albert Lea, MN, the daughter of Edward, Norma (Sarver) and Norbert Helstern. She grew up in Cumberland, WI and graduated from Cumberland High School in 1962.
