Clifford M. Rudeen, age 82 of Clear Lake, WI died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the American Heritage Home in Hammond, WI after a courageous battle with cancer.
Clifford Marvin Rudeen was born September 17, 1930 in Star Prairie Township, the son of J. Robert and Marie (Anderson) Rudeen. He attended country schools around Amery, Clear Lake, and Hilson, WI and graduated from Glenwood City High in 1949. Clliff joined the US Army and served in Korea from 1951-53. He was married to Sarah Backes on May 24, 1955 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Turtle Lake and together they raised 3 children, Judy, Denise and Lisa. They operated and remained on the family dairy farm in Clear Lake for more than 58 years. After Retiring from farming, Cliff worked as a mail carrier around the Amery area for several years. In addition to farming Cliff was active in the Clear Lake VFW Post 5828 and held many officer positions within the post, including Quartermaster for over 40 years. He was also an active member of the Clear Lake Area Veterans Honor Guard. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and gardening. Cliff will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

his parents, J. Robert and Marie Rudeen;
brothers, Roy, Ralph and Vernon Rudeen;
grandparents, Alfred and Lottie Anderson, John and Mary Rudeen;
and brother in law, Wayne Hoff.
