Cheryl R. Logan age 55 of Soldotna, Alaska, formerly of Clear Lake, WI, died unexpectedly at her home on April 11, 2016.
Cheryl Rae Logan was born on July 18, 1960, in Amery, WI, the daughter of Wayne & Janet (Hellum) Logan. She grew up in the Clear Lake area, attended South Elementary School and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1978. After graduation, Cheryl worked at Phillips Plastics in New Richmond, WI, for the New Richmond Police Department and later at 3M in Stillwater, MN. She furthered her education at WITC and became an administrative assistant, moving to Alaska in 2008. She was currently working at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna, AK. Cheryl loved an adventure and originally planned to stay in Alaska for only one year. She wound up staying 8 years. Cheryl loved living in Alaska, making many friends and enjoying the beauty of nature there. She was an avid reader, enjoyed the outdoors, white water rafting, growing flowers, and loved taking care of her pets. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
